BUCKEYE 5 GRACE 3

2/15/2010-Buckeye scored 4 runs in the 4th on 3 errors as Buckeye beat Grace 5-3 in each teams 2nd scrimmage. Grace's Jeremy Fontenot pitched three scoreless innings while Austin Waters and Patrick Murphy each pitched one scoreless inning. Daniel Margheim pitched two innings giving up two hits and allowing 5 runs while 4 were unearned.
Patrick Murphy,Daniel Margheim,Chaston LaCaze,Colten Murphy all had hits on the day.

GRACE 11 MARKSVILLE 7

2/06/2010-Grace Christian beat Class 3A Marksville 11-7 in a scrimmage at the Air Base Field Saturday. The Warriors were down 5-0 after two innings rallied in the 4th scoring 10 runs. Grace made four errors in the first two innings on defense that the Tigers took advantage of to score five runs. Jeremy Fontenot got the win on the mound pitching three scoreless innings and striking out 3. Chaston LaCaze pitched 2 innings strking out 3. Patrick Murphy had 2 hits on the day and Austin Waters had 3 RBI's. Grace will return to action next Saturday at Bringhurst as they play Block and Buckeye.
